Bottom skin hanging
Mon, May 26th 2008
I started today by removing about 1/2 of the clecos from the top skins to use on the bottom skins. I hung the bottom skins, but ran out of clecos before I got one in every other hole in one of the first bottom skin. I'm going to have to borrow some clecos from one bottom skin to be able to drill the other bottom skin. Not that big of a deal, really. It's amazing how much stiffness just adding one skin adds to the structure! I think that's one of the neatest things about the project- you really get an appreciation for making a strong structure with minimal weight!
